Local Health Fair

Lab work tubes

Have you ever been to a Health Fair that promised Fireworks but delivered Fizzles? Or one that promised unbounded excitement but was unbelievably empty? When you hear “Health Fair,” you of course don’t expect clowns and bearded ladies. The thought of a puppet trying to draw your blood for a cholesterol test is both terrifying and unsanitary.

But you would hope to at least see an array of services and medical professionals, ready, waiting, and willing to conduct high quality tests that you may have been putting off, for whatever reasons. Maybe you are new to an area and haven’t yet found a local Primary Care haven. Or maybe you stay so busy during the week, that a Saturday Health Fair, if suitably administrated, can be a great time and place to catch up on some much needed testing. Some people take advantage of a great Health Fair simply because they are retired, or have had their insurance lapse, and could benefit from free, high quality testing. Others utilize Health Fairs because they support anything that supports the health and wellness of the community that they call home.

Regardless of why you might be interested in attending and benefitting from a Health Fair, Southeastern Primary Care Specialists would like to extend an annual invitation to the best localized Health Fair you could ever hope to attend! We aren’t just talking about a single line of blood pressure checks, illegibly written on a soggy index card by some teenager, half-trained that morning on how to use the squeezy thingy.
